The Ballad of The Spider Prince

The Prince of Spiders sneaks and slips,
Searching for a lady to mate,
Stealing kisses from maiden lips,
Dooming them to a darkened fate.

In shadows, he will hide and wait,
And after we have gone to sleep
The prince will use his legs of eight
And silently will softly creep.

Venom will course within you deep.
He’ll wrap you in a tightened band.
You will awaken from your sleep
To a magic and silken land.

Witness the ring upon your hand.
Weep for your friends and forgone life.
Say goodbye to what you had planned.
The Spider Prince has taken wife.
