7 Years That Next Year Will Not Be

In only a few days, it will be the new year. But it’s important to remember which year it will be to avoid any confusion and to start the year off right. Here are 7 years that next year will not be.

1998

We loved exploring the giant Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom while discussing President Bill Clinton’s sex scandal!

This year, we all got to explore Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the first time! We all high fived and hugged when we saw the Tree of Life and got to see zebras up close! Also, the United States House of Representatives began impeachment hearings against President Bill Clinton at the height of the Monica Lewinsky Scandal. Most importantly, this was the year Titanic became the first film to gross $1 billion, inspiring many couples everywhere to hold on tight, and never let go. Not like Rose let go of Jack. There was definitely room on that raft. But that is not next year.

2004

We were so excited that Michael Phelps won those medals! (The above picture is NOT of Michael Phelps!)

This year, Greece hosted the XXVIII Olympiad in Athens! Michael Phelps won 6 gold medals, and set the record for winning the most medals at the Olympics!
